Vish was born and raised in Nottingham and, prior to dentistry, graduated in Medicine from the University of Birmingham in 2007.
After having his interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery sparked as a junior doctor he decided to study Dentistry, qualifying from the University of Liverpool in 2013.
Since then he has built up experience in all aspects of restorative dentistry, but with his penchant for surgery, his passion lies in placing and restoring dental implants to help replace missing teeth. He was first exposed to this field when observing these procedures as a trainee dentist. He spent two years dedicating himself to observing as many cases as he could, culminating in the completion of a year-long dental implant training course in 2017.
He is great with nervous patients and, if required, can provide intravenous sedation to make any dental procedure more comfortable.
With his medical background, he is a natural at providing facial aesthetic treatments. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his young family, has recently learned how to swing a golf club and most importantly he enjoys supporting two-time European Cup winners Nottingham Forest!

Hamza graduated from Liverpool Dental school with honours gaining distinctions in Restorative Dentistry, Children’s Dentistry and Oral Disease. He was also awarded the Malcom Foster medal for Excellence. He has continued learning with numerous courses and is currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute University College London.
He is passionate about dental education and enjoys putting patients at ease, taking the time to get to know them. Hamza enjoys all parts of Restorative Dentistry (repairing and replacing teeth) as well as completing smile improvements and teeth straightening through the Invisalign system.
In his spare time he is an avid sports fan, enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

I am friendly and approachable, providing high quality dentistry in a calm and relaxed environment. After qualifying from Birmingham Dental Hospital I was fortunate to be able continue my training at Derby Royal Infirmary in the Oral and Maxillo Facial Department as their Senior House Officer and then at The Royal Dental Hospital in London as a Registrar in the Paediatric department.
In 1984 I moved to Nottingham to work in General Dental Practice. In 1990 together with my husband Paul we came to Peveril Road Dental Specialists.
I enjoy all fields of dentistry but I find it especially rewarding to help patients overcome their worries. I focus on preventative care, working together with patients to transform and maintain a healthy smile.
I like to keep up to date through attending regular courses to keep abreast of new materials and techniques.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time in my garden and walking with my family, especially in the beautiful Peak District.

Nicola is a dental hygienist at Peveril Road.

Lesa is a dental hygienist at Peveril Road.

I began working as a dental nurse in 2005 and have loved the job ever since.
I joined the team at Peveril Road in 2015 following a gap year travelling.
I enjoy all aspects of being a dental nurse but i do enjoy treating nervous patients and helping them overcome dental fears.
In my spare time I love to spend time exploring new places with my little boy and partner.

Hello my name is Margo. I joined Peveril Road Dental Specialist in May 1992.
I started my career as a dental nurse in 1976. My first practice where l worked was alongside Melanie, who you all know is now one of our receptionist at Peveril Road. Our career paths, still within dentistry took slightly different routes for a few years. Whilst l was on maternity leave in 1992 Melanie put my name forward to come and help out at Peveril Road – 28 years later l am still here, helping out.
I work part time and have the responsibility for ordering all the stock within the practice.
As a dental nurse we have to keep up with training (CPD) attending day or online courses. All these hours have to be submitted yearly to the General Dental Council.
Over the time l have met lots of lovely patients, l enjoy finding out what they’ve been up to since their last visit, hopefully putting them at ease with any concerns they may have.
Outside work l enjoy being with my family, meeting up with friends to have a good chat. Walking, Lake District is my favorite place. Love my holidays especially cruising.

My name is Josine van den Berg, I have been working as a Practice Manager for the last 3 years and joined Peveril Road recently.
After working on cruise ships and owning my own Beauty Salon I chose a career change and started my journey in dentistry in 2012. I became a trainee dental nurse, qualified in 2014 and progressed to an area support nurse. Over the years I have worked in NHS dentistry, Orthodontics and private dentistry and I have enjoyed all aspects of dentistry.
I am extremely pleased to have joined the fantastic team here at Peveril Road and I am enjoying getting to know lots of the loyal patients who have been with the practice for many years. I am looking forward to helping the practice grow and ensure our patients have the best possible experience whilst visiting Peveril Road.
Outside of work I enjoy traveling and trying the local cuisine, socializing with family and friends and walking with our two lovely dogs.

My name is Melanie. I qualified as a dental surgery assistant in 1982 and I have worked at The Peveril Road Dental Specialists since 1984.
My first few years was as the role of a dental surgery assistant, until I moved into the current role as one of our practice receptionists.
I enjoy working at the practice due to all the many friendly members of staff and the lovely patients who having been coming to our practice for many years. They are like family and I feel we all have a good patient and practice relationship.
I like to continually develop my knowledge and skills by attending or doing online courses.
Outside of work I enjoy meeting up with friends, reading, gardening, holidaying and my biggest passion is football, having a season ticket with Nottingham Forest for many years.

My name is Sara Rowland after leaving full time education I started a career in banking with Barclays Bank. I later got married and had two children and took a career break. When I returned to work I decided a part time position near to home would be preferable so I applied for a position at Peveril Road. I have been an employee at The Peveril Road Dental Practice since November 1996. I was originally employed as a receptionist but after a few months I was asked to train as a dental nurse. I gained my National Diploma in Dental Nursing qualification in 2005. My GDC registration number is 139583.
Over the years I have met and got to know so many lovely patients that have been extremely loyal to the practice it is a standing joke that Melanie and myself can recognise most of our longstanding patients over the phone by their voice without the patients having to disclose their names. The practice has become a very successful referral clinic specialising in dental implants and root canal therapy. The patients that are referred to us are often unsure and nervous so I try to make them feel at ease and help them to understand what their treatment entails.
I have three horses which are kept at home so whenever I get the opportunity to ride I do. I enjoy training for dressage competitions, spending time with my family, walking the dog and helping take care of my two little grandchildren. My favourite type of vacation is to take road trips around Europe.
